Undoing Order Declines and Voids

A functionality to undo Voided/Declined Orders has been added to the Order Console screen to give specific users the ability to un-void or un-decline orders that were either voided or declined by mistake, or had a change in their decision. The procedure will allow the undo void action to proceed if the order type is CTI or recert and the episode's status is either Pending or Current. Once the order has been un-voided or un-declined the appropriate workflow will appear on the Actions screen .
To undo a void/decline, you will need to do the following:
Note: The following system function will be need to be assigned to the appropriate responsible position(s) in order to access these menu options: Undo Void Order & Undo Decline Order
- Go to Clinical Manager > Orders Console
- Search for the desired patient
- Click Load
- Right-click on the desired order and click Undo Void/Undo Decline
- Note: Users will NOT be able to un-void/un-decline orders given the following conditions:
- 485 Orders will not be available to be un-voided/un-declined.
- Orders with subsequent orders will not be allowed to be un-voided/un-declined.
- If either of these conditions are met, submit a ticket to HCHB Support to un-void/un-decline the order.
